A church source told UK newspaper the Daily Record: “Susan said it would be a dream come true to perform for the Pope and she was delighted when we invited her. We haven’t decided what she will sing or whether it will be before or after the Mass. Those decisions will be made when we meet Susan.”

The Pope will be visiting the UK for a four-day tour from September 16-19.

Between her 1st public appearance in Britain’s Got Talent and today, she has traversed miles treading on the path of labour and popularity. With astounding success came dollars and repute and today her bank is overflowing with money. However, it’s ironic that her own purse isn’t quite jingling.

Susan’s finances, as per her brother Gerry, are in control of her management team and Susan, herself, is merely handed a meagre $450 as a weekly allowance. Such an arrangement stems from Susan’s inexperience and fear of handling money. However, Susan is a tad perturbed and fears that the vultures may squander her money and left her penniless.

Gerry says, “When Susan realised she can’t just walk into a bank and take out her own money she had a fit because she thought she was down to her last few quid (pounds).

Her millions are ring-fenced but Susan has no concept of money. She was extremely distressed. She lives in fear of losing everything and returning to her old life before she made it big. Susan said to me, ‘I’ve been told I get £300 a week because I’m a novice. I don’t have the money to go and buy the furniture.’

It’s true that Susan isn’t financially astute but we have seen the money mongers maligning the image of the beloved Michael Jackson….And we don’t want a repeat of the same with the innocent Boyle……..Do we……?

The 49-year-old ‘Britain’s Got Talent star’ had launched a worldwide search to find someone to sing with on her, reports contactmusic.com. Amber Stassi, a mother of three from New York, emerged victorious among thousands of potential singers who uploaded their auditions on Boyle’s website.

‘Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would win this competition. I can’t believe I spoke with Susan – and that Susan and even Simon Cowell has seen my audition. This is crazy,’ said Stassi, 33 who is set to fly off to London later this month to record with Boyle.

The Britain’s Got Talent sensation launched Susan’s Search, a competition to find a duet partner, last month. Tens of thousands of entrants posted footage of themselves singing Silent Night, and SuBo has now picked a winner: New York paramedic and mother-of-three Amber Stassi.

The ambulance worker said she was amazed to receive a phone call from the I Dreamed A Dream singer with the good news. “I can’t believe I won. I’m thrilled that I’ve spoken with Susan – and that she and even Simon Cowell have seen my audition. This is crazy!

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would win this competition,” Stassi continued. “To receive this gift from Susan is truly a blessing and if I can pass this gift on to someone else who needs it like I did, that would be perfect.

“We have had some hard times. If my father was here now he would be so proud… This is a chance to give my kids a good memory and maybe a chance at a better life.”

Susan admitted she was overwhelmed by the number of high quality entries from right across the globe. “I never thought so many people would want to take part in this and I want to thank everyone. Amber really stood out for me though, I enjoyed her audition clip very much; she has a lovely, very beautiful voice.”

The winner will now fly to London to meet Susan and record a track for her next album, The Gift, due out in November.

Paramedic Amber Stassi beat off competition from thousands of hopefuls to land the chance to sing alongside the Blackburn spinster and feature on new album The Gift. And the 33-year-old admitted it was a dream come true after receiving a phone call from SuBo herself to break the news.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would win this competition,” she said.

“To receive this gift from Susan is truly a blessing and if I can pass this gift on to someone else who needs it like I did, that would be perfect. 

“If my father was here now he would be so proud, I know he’s here in spirit, but this is a chance to give my kids a good memory and maybe a chance at a better life.

The mother of three will fly to London later this month and join Susan in the recording studio after impressing with her performance of Silent Night.

“I enjoyed her audition clip very much.  She has a lovely, very beautiful voice.”

Unlike the glamorous dolls like Lady Gaga or Britney or a Miley, Susan (an elderly lady pushing 50) is serenely quiet and maintains a low profile. Hence, her legions of fans don’t often get to hear of her with the regularity of an Angelina or a Pattinson.

Yet, come Christmas and you shall be bewitched by the mesmerising spell cast from the wands of this Scotland special as the lovely Susan braces herself to invade your house through your TV sets.

Susan is all set to star in the Christmas special episode of the hit US TV sitcom ‘Glee’ and, reportedly, shall step into the robes of a dinner lady in the school.

Besides, some hit singles of the iconic Paul McCartney shall also be resurrected. In fact, the brain behind the show Ryan Murphy gleefully beams, “I received some fantastic mixed tapes from Paul McCartney a couple of weeks ago. I thought I was being punked! It came out of the blue in a package, handwritten, and it had two CDs and it said ‘Hi Ryan, I hope you will consider some of these songs for ‘Glee’. I had heard that he is a fan of the show. I was gob-smacked… so of course we are going to do something with him.”

With Susan and Paul on your plate, a turkey would be just an icing on the cake……..

According to the News Of The World Susan, who found fame on 2009 Britain’s Got Talent season, has been secretly measured up for the waxwork, which will go on display at the London tourist attraction later this year. She will be one of eight new waxwork figures due to debut at the attraction, each costing around £150,000.

“She’s very excited about this,” a source told the paper. “Susan would never in her wildest dreams have ever imagined she’d one day be a waxwork at Madame Tussauds. It’s unbelievable.”

The model is expected to feature Susan’s original look – complete with dowdy clothes and unkempt hair – rather than the smarter look she adopted after becoming famous. And Susan will be hoping that the figure proves popular, so as to avoid being melted down in the future – as has happened to other celebrity waxworks. Former X Factor winner Shayne Ward is among those whose waxwork has been removed and destroyed, while veteran presenter Terry Wogan had his waxwork melted down to make models of Ant and Dec.

“Figures are often melted down and re-made into someone new,” said a museum source. But Susan Boyle is hugely popular – especially among Americans. It’s a big coup to get her.”
