Susan Boyle’s brother Gerry has claimed that Simon Cowell now agrees with him and wants Susan Boyle to move to a safer home. After she faced an intruder in her house last week, Susan is still adamant that she wants to remain in her childhood home and her management is backing that decision.
However Gerry insists: “We all grew up there but she has to know she can’t now. She’s telling everyone she will stay but she has to be made to move. She needs protection. She has to realise she is in the world of celebrity and she is too exposed in that house. It’s going to be a wrench but she has to move or who knows what will happen.”

Simon Cowell gave Susan Boyle the option of walking away from her budding music career when he feared she was cracking under the pressure of stardom. Boyle gained international recognition after auditioning for the music mogul’s U.K. TV show “Britain’s Got Talent” in early 2009 – a clip of her singing spread across the internet and gained her legions of dedicated fans. But Cowell admits he hadn’t fully considered the effect Boyle’s sudden rise to fame would have on her and began to fear for the fragile star as the competition reached its final stages. The music mogul became so worried about her state of mind, he offered Boyle the chance to quit the show and return to her native Scotland.

American Idol Judge Simon Cowell admitted on a documentary to be aired in Britain this coming Saturday that he didn’t really support “X- Factor” runner up Susan Boyle as she shot to fame.
In an interview on “Piers Morgan’s Life Stories,” Cowell, known for his crude comments to contestants who appear on “American Idol” and “X-Factor” both in the U.S. and in the U.K. said he initially failed to provide a support system for SuBo when she began to struggle with the pressures of fame.
