Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle was dragged into the X Factor Auto-Tune row today when it was revealed that the Scottish singer’s first appearance was digitally tweaked.
The X Factor this week admitted using technology to smooth out faults in contestants’ singing during the audition stages. Today the Standard learned that the same techniques are used on Simon Cowell’s other reality show, Britain’s Got Talent.
Susan Boyle, the stupendous and awe-inspiring singer from Scotland, is now on a hunt for her right man. Her life was desolate and her talent obscured……. but 2009 gave her life a new turn when her mellifluous voice mesmerized the globe on the talent-hunt ‘Britain’s got talent’. But, the lady has always regretted the absence of any man in her life…… her confession that she has never been kissed, as men find her ugly, was moving and tugged at our heart-strings causing a tear to trickle out from our moist eyes.
She has, recently, professed that she is hopeful of finding a mate in 2010. “I now dream about the perfect man. Women just want the security of a nice man and somebody to love you,” she sighs. When further quizzed, she confessed her love for her reality-show mentor Simon Cowell. “I owe so much to him. He knows I have a soft spot for him. Simon (is) my kind of (man),” she adds with a hint of subdued despair.
Will Simon Cowell ever acknowledge her? Will he ever fall in love with her? And finally, is he the right man for the beautiful spinster? Only time can ell what lies ahead for her.
