Susan Boyle’s ‘people’ had to release this message to shut them up:-

 ”Contrary to reports, we have not announced any Australian-New Zealand dates. Neither are there any plans to do so this year. The story is 100% false”.

According to a reporter for the Guardian Newspaper she and other contestants with past mental health issues are deliberately targets by ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ producers.

The article says that Boyle fears to lose her sudden success as soon as she earned it. Recalling what happened to Leon Jackson (a past winner of the “X factor” another talent vehicle) – he was superstar after the show but months afterwards was suddenly dropped without notice from his label. Could this happen to Susan as well once the ‘new car smell’ from her wanes?

Susan Boyle needs to understand that Leon Jackson, while he may have been treated like dirt, did not have the best selling album of the year.

Simon Cowell knows he’s being watched, he knows that his shows are being scrutinized for the way they treat contestants, and he’s not going to do anything to hurt Susan Boyle. She’s the biggest success he’s found so far and with proper management she’ll continue to do well for him.

 Cowell is reportedly keen to find a star as big as Susan on next year’s series of the ITV talent show. A source told The People: “Simon hasn’t been happy with the show at all, this time around. He wants projects he’s associated with to be tip top. He believes Britain’s Got Talent is now in need of some serious reinvestment.

“Last year Susan Boyle summed up the very best of what BGT is all about. There was nothing like that in this latest series. Simon feels the audition stages need to be more tightly controlled. He wants more variety than this year and an improved standard.”

The anime is the first feature-length film from the R.O.D. Read or Die anime franchise‘s core team of director Koji Masunari, writer Hideyuki Kurata, and character designer Masashi Ishihama at A-1 Pictures Inc. The three later worked together on the Kamichu! anime series.

The science-fiction family film begins during the summer vacation of fifth grader Natsuki Oyama, who just moved into the countryside. She and four of her schoolmates embark on an space-spanning adventure that takes them beyond the fields they call home.

Boyle already contributed her cover of Les Misérables stage musical’s “I Dreamed a Dream” song for the theme song of FROGMAN‘s Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume The Movie 3 ~http://takanotsume.jp wa Eien ni~ gag comedy anime film. However, “Who I Was Born to Be” will be the first original song from Boyle that will be used for a movie’s theme song.

Masunari told Eiga.com that he made the film for everyone in the world to see. While he was looking for the appropriate theme song, he came across “Who I Was Born to Be” on Boyle’s debut album, I Dreamed a Dream. Boyle agreed to the film team’s offer to collaborate.

The film will open in Japan on June 26, after a February screening (without the theme song) at the Berlin International Film Festival and June screenings at the Sydney Film Festival.

Nick will also take part in a 25th anniversary production of the legendary musical at London’s O2 Arena in October.

The UK’s The Sun reported earlier this month that Susan Boyle may join the cast of the special October show as Fantine, where she would sing “I Dreamed A Dream” – the song that made her a worldwide star on “Britain’s Got Talent.”

Officials at the U.K.’s Down’s Syndrome Association contacted the comedian after receiving a “report” about the show – and Gervais immediately wrote back to explain the word was not meant to be offensive in the context of the routine.

And he’s now taken to his official blog to show fans how the potential scandal was smoothed over as soon as he reached out to the association. Gervais writes, “The DSA contacted my PR on the 6th of May explaining they had had a report about my routine about Susan Boyle and voiced their obvious concerns. I sent them an email (in which I wrote) ‘I clearly explain that words change and that at no point am I referring to anyone with Down’s Syndrome. Not only am I not referring to people with Down’s Syndrome I also explain that I am not associating the word with its old derogatory meaning. I also do it as part of a routine about comedians taking responsibility for everything they say. I hope this is acceptable.’”

Gervais’ quick response was well received by the association’s bosses – they wrote back: “Fully explained and acceptable reply. Please extend our thanks to Ricky for the prompt reply.

The Pope requested Susan Boyle sing at a special tribute concert in Italy next month honoring Saint Padre Pio. The 49 year old who became famous during her awe-inspiring run on Britain’s Got Talent and who sang in her church’s choir, reportedly accepted the offer. “I have a great devotion to Padre Pio,” Boyle was quoted as saying.

Padre Pio, an Italian-born priest, died in 1968 and was canonized a saint by Pope John Paul II in June 2002. Millions of people make religious pilgrimages every year to visit Padre Pio’s tomb.  The second most famous Catholic figure after the Pope, Padre Pio became famous for his stigmata, bleeding, or experience of pain in parts of his body where Jesus was injured during the Crucifixion.  His body was exhumed 40 years after his death and last month was put into a golden “Cripta” in the San Giovanni Rotondo where he lived. 

Susan Boyle has also reportedly been confirmed to sing for Pope Benedict during a mass in September.

Charity bosses have now written to Gervais to demand he stops using the word – a cruel nickname for Down’s Syndrome sufferers. During the tour, he said: ‘Look at Susan Boyle – if you can. Well, she’s a mong, isn’t she? She looks like a mong, doesn’t she?’

Xanthe Breen, of the Down’s Syndrome Association, said: ‘We’ve had a campaign to have that particular word removed from common usage and we really don’t want a resurgence. Families who live with Down’s are left very upset by it. I have contacted Mr Gervais’s PR company. I look forward to hearing from them.’

The tasteless term is short for “mongoloid” – an outdated term used for people with Down’s Syndrome. Last night, Gervais refused to take back his slur on Britain’s Got Talent star Susan, 49, who has battled learning difficulties from birth.

The platinum-selling singer, from Blackburn, West Lothian, has refused to comment. Her spokesman said: ‘Whenever someone says something negative about Susan, we don’t get drawn into it.’

During his Science stand-up show, Gervais also criticises BGT judge Amanda Holden and the contestants. One Gervais fan wrote on a website: ‘I’ve seen all four of his tours and this latest one is the worst by quite some way. It had some good points, however, he literally spends the first 10 minutes explaining how it’s OK to call Susan Boyle a ‘mong’. Very poor from a man I used to admire.’

Gervais previously featured a Down’s Syndrome child in his sitcom Extras. His character Andy Millman got into an embarrassing mix-up after telling a mum to keep the kid quiet in a restaurant.

Xanthe Breen added: ‘Sadly, we live in a society where once you’re out in the big world you seem to be fair game. Laughing’s good but not at the expense of anyone who’s vulnerable. It’s pure laziness. Lots of other people manage to be incredibly funny while not actually yanking the carpet up from under people who cannot defend themselves. Susan Boyle wouldn’t be able to defend herself against something like that. She’d just be hurt.’

The latest storm comes after Glaswegian comic Frankie Boyle was slammed last month for a sick routine about Down’s Syndrome kids. He was challenged by Sharon Smith, the mum of a Down’s child, who was in the front row of one of his live shows.

A spokesman for Gervais – who shot to fame in The Office – wouldn’t comment on the new row but said: ‘The DSA and Ricky’s management were in correspondence following the Extras episode and the correspondence was amicable.’

Cowell told Oprah Winfrey on her show Thursday that before Boyle started singing, he was in a bad mood and didn’t want to be there. Didn’t think they’d find anyone good.

‘When I watched the clip back, I actually hated myself. We’re all sneering; we’re not listening,” he said. “I didn’t like what I saw. It was a wake-up call, and I was happy she made us look stupid, because we deserved it.’

And yes, he says, boredom is one factor in his decision to leave “American Idol,” he says. Big problem: He can’t hide it when he’s bored, and the audience “deserves more than that.” He’s also excited about the U.S. version of “X Factor” in part because there’s no upper age limit — a notion that should intrigue many Ministry commenters.

Pain also went on to say that it’s hard in the CD selling world and only Susan Boyle is running that at the moment.

He told MTV News US: “Revolver is coming, we’re just trying to see. It’s hard to sell records unless you’re Susan Boyle, I guess. Nobody is selling records. I should compete on ‘American Idol’ the way they’re selling records when they come off of there. I need to be a part of that competition. I don’t know if they let you use Auto-Tune, but if they do, I’m a shoo-in. I’m two shoes in! I’m a pair of shoes in.”
