Susan Boyle cancels Logies appearance

Susan Boyle has cancelled her Australian visit. The Scottish singer will no longer appear at the Logie Awards or on Hey Hey it’s Saturday. “Regrettably, we have had to make the tough decision to postpone our Australian visit for the Logies in May,” her manager Andy Stephens said.

“We want to apologise to all Susan’s Australian fans and look forward to coming to Australia later in the year.”

The singer’s representatives decided Boyle needs time to recuperate from promotional tours before heading back into the recording studio. Earlier this week it was reported that Boyle threw a tantrum with her assistant, a relative, at Heathrow Airport, following a flight was delayed after she was returning from a visit to Japan.

Sony are now hoping to book Boyle to launch her second album in November, which will probably mean a Hey Hey appearance can be rescheduled.

Susan to appear at ‘Logies’

Susan Boyle may make an appearance at Australian television industry awards, the Logies, this year. SuBo is apparently the organisers’ favourite choice for the big night, industry sources say.

The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star’s album ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ has been in the top three for 14 weeks Down Under, reports the Herald Sun.

The Logies is scheduled to take place on May 2 at Crown.
