Susan Boyle like to sing for Holy Father
Reports this week that Susan Boyle may duet with controversial pop shock star Lady Gaga pale into insignificance in light of a more pressing engagement for the Catholic Scot—the possibility of performing during the Papal Visit to Scotland.
Ms Boyle is reported to be hoping to fulfil a more spiritual ambition—to sing for Pope Benedict XVI, who arrives in Scotland on September 16, perhaps as part of the Papal Mass at Bellahouston Park.
“The Pope is a very special person and singing for him within the Mass, it’s not just for him, it’s for everybody,” the Lothians lady said.
A New Susan Boyle Record this Christmas?
British singing sensation Susan Boyle may be spreading some holiday cheer this Christmas. According to U.S. retail sources, the singer is currently recording a Christmas album, Billboard.com reported. The details are unknown, but Boyle’s record company, Sony, is aiming for an October release date of her upcoming record.
Susan Boyle ‘living on £300 a week’
Susan Boyle is apparently suffering a cash crisis, after her management restricted her ability to withdraw her earnings. The singer is living on just 300 pounds a week, despite a 10-million-pound royalties pot, guarded by her managers.
Boyle is not allowed to withdraw extra cash from the bank and she cannot even buy furniture for her new home. SuBo even cannot use a credit card; she is forced to shop for dresses at Tesco and travel by bus.
