SuBo’s cousin stuns BGT judges
After Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle, it was the turn of her cousin to stun the judges with her audition. The lass was said to have left jaws hanging in the air when she revealed she was related to Scottish songbird Susan. She then went on impress judges Amanda Holden, 38, Simon Cowell, 50, and Piers Morgan with her performance of Sting’s Fields Of Gold. “She is a young girl with a big voice,” the Daily Star quoted Piers as saying.
Amanda added: “We have a moment in the auditions that’s very interesting.”

SuBo to Sing ‘Everybody Hurts’ to Help Haiti
Susan has signed on to sing REM’s ballad “Everybody Hurts” along with a star-studded roster of other singers to raise money for Haiti. It was announced earlier this week that Simon Cowell is organizing the charity initiative, which will also include Michael Bublé, Rod Stewart and Leona Lewis. “The Haiti earthquake has caused devastation and suffering that most of us will never experience nor could imagine,” Boyle told The Sun newspaper. “I feel privileged to be a part of such a wonderful project that will raise money to help the country.”

SuBo sings for her Mother

Susan believes her late mother is watching over her. The ‘Wild Horses‘ singer – who became a worldwide sensation when she performed ‘Les Miserables‘ song ‘I Dreamed A Dream‘ on UK TV show ‘Britain’s Got Talent‘ – feels she owes her phenomenal success to her beloved mother Bridget as she always encouraged and supported her. The 48-year-old star said: “She’s right here in this room. She would have been really proud. I do feel there is a lingering presence – and that person is my mother.”
SuBo’s heroine Elaine Paige is horrid about her
Poor SuBo taken a terrible drubbing today from her heroine, ElPa (otherwise known as Elaine Paige to anyone who doesn’t speak exclusively in portmanteau words). “I don’t particularly feel any pride for [Susan Boyle],” Paige told a newspaper. “It’s all about turning someone into an immediate celebrity at the expense of longevity and working hard and experience. She is a girl with no experience of anything to do with theatrics, the music business or art in any way.”
