Susan’s Dream comes true

On the evening of April 11th 2009, 48-year-old Susan Boyle stood rather anxiously, infront of an audience of more than 3000 Scotts and the three judges of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

Strolling on stage this quiet, lady was greeted with laughter and the occasional wolf whistle, appearing as a comedy act placed on the show by the producers.

Simon Cowell continued to question Susan’s reasoning for appearing in front of him. Susan replied: “I am trying to be a professional singer.” At this point Simon’s eyes rolled back in his head in the obnoxious fashion he is so famous for.

For a moment Susan’s nerves took a hold, as she seemed to be be lost for words with Simon’s basic questions. Never the less, this determined singer was here to prove a point; Don’t judge a book by its cover.

But failure was not her destiny, and in Susans own eyes the judges and British public were in for a surprise. As the slow-paced orchestral music began Susan’s well-aged voice comes in perfect key and along with an instant applause from the audience.

An expression of shock quickly filled the faces of the series judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.

Within seconds everyone was standing, the wave of cheers was the ticket of acceptance Susan was preying for. Even the judges stood for this short moment that will certainly go down in the history of British TV. Susan then shone a beautiful smile and along with it, a ray of happiness which filed the auditorium.

As the popularity of Susan increases to an international level, it is safe to say we have all been taught a lesson, or at least become more aware that our initial judgments we make of people are not always correct.

Susan’s star performance was awarded with all three judges saying ‘Yes’ to her entering the next round, once step further to fulfilling ‘her dream’.

We are all supporting you Susan, and hope to see you go the whole way!

More updates on Susan comming soon.
